The Genuine Progress in the States Initiative is a community of government officials, local advocates, and academics with the goal of encouraging, developing, and implementing the GPI construct in state government policy and budget decisions. The network is currently being assisted and facilitated by Demos, a non-profit organization “working for an America where we all have an equal say in our democracy and an equal chance in our economy.”
